The question has been posed: why does Steven/Creepy act "enraged?"
Any thoughts?

Ummmm, because you ARE enraged?

Because people ask stupid questions like that?

"You're a fucking wet blanket. Kill Josie or Alistair and I would personally kill and eat you. With the help of lots of condiments."
because you say things like that, perhaps?

Facetious comments made to Larry don't count. (He's much too hairy to eat.)

And we were looking for causes of the alleged behavior, not examples. But thanks for playing.

gee, my bad. being up at the crack of dawn does horrible things to my comprehension skills.

I'm confuddled by your question. You're looking for the reason why you are enraged?
Posted by: Freshlyevil | July 09, 2009 at 10:04 PM
I'm a little confused too.
Are you looking for the reason you act "enraged", or the reason you "act" enraged?

Nevermind. It's pointless.
Posted by: Creepy | July 10, 2009 at 12:43 AM
Because you have such a good time going "arrrrrrrgggghhh?"

why wouldn't creepy act enraged? he's sensitive to people's assholishness. the aware are cursed, the ignorant are blessed.

If this must continue, the correct answer is:
a) He feels as if he was treated very unfairly
which was then compounded by
b) He doesn't take kindly to having his nose rubbed in "it"
Everyone satisfied?

We now resume our regularly scheduled depression.
Posted by: Creepy | July 11, 2009 at 01:44 AM
so it was a rhetorical question?

i don't know you personally but having read your blog for awhile, i would say you are perfectly entitled to be angry or enraged. you have gone through alot of really stressful, awful events in a very short space of time. your father is very ill, you've endured the break up of a relationship and then had the suffer the indignity of technologies like facebook/myspace giving you an insight into their new life together, you've lost your job, you've suffered alot of health problems. any one of these things would drive the average man/woman to distress - let alone all of them at once. also, most of us get enraged by things that happen in the world. it is full of moments that make no sense and people who do things that are cruel, pointless and unjust. i don't think it's unusual to be angry about these things. we all just show it in different ways.

Me: Bingo!
Emma: Excellent job at summing up my shit year, thank you. Hopefully your explanation and mine will answer any questions anyone may have about my state of mind and/or behavior.
You two can split the grand prize: the piece of my colon that will be surgically removed (August?). Just e-mail me your shipping addresses. I was gonna give it to Larry for his birthday but what the hell.

Fair enough Creeps. Keep me in mind if you have anything else removed though...

Put the jar on your coffee table, it will be quite the conversation piece. Or use it as a paperweight.

just try and stop me!
Posted by: emma | July 12, 2009 at 08:35 PM
You were angry before the stuff that happened to you this year happened. Maybe it has just bumped you up to the status of "enraged".
