One of the few cool things about living in South Florida is the neato wildlife you get to encounter. Like this big fella outside my bedroom window (not sure of the species but he sure was much bigger than the average lizard native to the area):
And Sluggo outside the front door:
"You're gonna need a bigger boat." Or a bigger mouth/belly:
(Yeah, that's an average-sized bird, and a big lizard.)
Hammerhead off the stern of my patio:
Speaking of...
"We may be tight asses, but we were once young and hip like you":
Reason number 1,731 best friend Rick kicks ass -- real men still drink PBR:
My tastes run a little differently:
You wouldn't think less of me if I screamed like a girl every time a lizard jumped on my screen would you?

As long as you wouldn't think less of me if I did the same if it were a spider.

First lizard is a Knight Anole (aka "Cuban Anole"). Technically not native, but they've been here a long time. Almost none of the lizards you ever see here are native.

The second is a basilisk (not sure which species but I think it's a Brown Basilisk). More recent.

Like the Crocodile Hunter with a deviant personality, long hair, a house full of arms and gun powder, not to mention a leopard-spotted thong. How fuckin' cool is Lawrence?
